After a meeting ends, Klipy processes the captured audio to produce a transcript, summary, and action items. This usually takes a few minutes. If nothing appears 15 minutes after your meeting ended, processing may have stalled.

What to check first

Klipy can only generate a transcript if the notetaker was present and admitted into the meeting. If the bot was left in the waiting room or never joined, there’s no audio to transcribe.Check Meetings in Klipy to see if the meeting is listed. If it doesn’t appear at all, the notetaker likely didn’t join. See why the notetaker might not have joined →

Meetings over 90 minutes may take longer to transcribe due to the volume of audio. If your meeting was unusually long, allow up to 30 minutes before escalating.
If the call dropped, the host ended it unexpectedly, or audio capture failed on the meeting service side, Klipy may have received incomplete or corrupted audio. In these cases, transcript processing can fail silently.

What to do if it’s been 15 minutes

If the transcript is still showing as “processing” or isn’t appearing at all 15 minutes after the meeting ended, contact support with:
  • The meeting title and date/time
  • The video service used (Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams)
  • Whether the Klipy notetaker appeared in the participant list
The support team can check the processing pipeline and manually trigger a retry if needed.

What gets generated after processing

Once a meeting finishes processing, Klipy creates:
  • Transcript — full text of what was said, attributed by speaker
  • Summary — a structured recap with key topics, decisions, and next steps
  • Action items — tasks extracted from the conversation
  • Follow-up drafts — suggested email follow-ups to attendees, ready for your approval
All AI outputs — including follow-up emails — go into your approval queue. Nothing is sent automatically.
